THE ARROGANCE OF POWER

Emblem of the Muslim Brotherhood

“Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”—Muslim Brotherhood

The inscription embossed across the emblem is taken from Quran verse 60 (Surat al-Anfal) and reads in part…”Against them make ready your strength to utmost of your power”. In its entirety the verse reads: “Against them ready make your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies.”

We friends, we band of brothers,

Well folks for those of you who are a bit confused regarding the Presidential debates my friend Michael Connelly has pinned a great essay which describes to a tee the personalities and the true feelings of BHO and Biden.  He does an excellent job of describing and explaining the egotistical narcissism of Barry Soetoro…AKA Muhammad’s White House Mack Daddy.

Read and enjoy.

THE ARROGANCE OF POWER

We have had two Presidential debates between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama and a Vice Presidential debate between Paul Ryan and Joe Biden. There has been a lot of discussion about winners and losers and who had a bad or a good night, but based on what I saw that is not the only thing that the American people should focus on.

What I saw from Obama and Biden was one of the worst displays of the arrogance of power I have ever witnessed. Obama was not just having a bad night in his first debate with Romney, by both words and actions he was conveying his complete distain for the entire election process in this country. He clearly felt that it was beneath him to participate in a debate where he would be required to defend his actions and philosophy before the American people.

He is an elitist and as such he believes that he and Michelle are royalty and the Presidency is his by some divine right. He is only supposed to have to give speeches to adoring hand picket audiences where he can safely hide his ignorance and arrogance behind some safe Teleprompters. He does not believe that anyone has the right to disagree with him or even question him.

He showed that clearly in the second debate. He was aggressive with the arrogant attitude and smirks that indicated he again felt that no one had a right to question him. He didn’t have a teleprompter, but he had something almost as good, he had a moderator who handpicked questions that by 2-1margin were favorable to his campaign. He also relied on Candy Crowley to bail him out by interrupting Romney when he was making a good point and assisting the President with her own comments when necessary.

I am totally convinced that at least in the case of the final question Obama had been tipped off in advance about the content. Remember that the moderator insisted that she get that question in and it was directed at Romney and then allowed Obama to wrap up the debate with what sounded like rehearsed remarks on the 47% comment Romney had made at a fund raiser. Romney was given no chance to respond. Once again, Obama showed that he does not believe he has to play by the rules.

Joe Biden was just as bad, if not worse. He treated his opponent with rudeness and disrespect and thought that the American people would love his being condescending. He is also an elitist and anyone who disagrees with him is subject to derision and insults. On the other hand, Paul Ryan was a gentleman and showed his respect for the office of Vice President.

Obama and Biden have nothing to run for re-election on except for a wrecked economic and foreign policy failures and their headlong rush to destroy our Constitution, our values, and our way of life. They, and the other elitists in Washington D. C., think they are smarter than the rest of us and therefore are entitled to tell us what to do, what to say, and what to think.

They do not believe that the rights guaranteed to us in the Constitution are God given and inherent rights. Obama, Biden, Clinton, Reid, and Pelosi believe that those tights were given to us by the government and thus the government can take them away from us. They have forgotten that under the Constitution we are the government, not them. They are nothing more than our employees and very poor ones at that. Barack and Michelle are not our King and Queen and we will not tolerate royalty of any kind.

Reply To: INTERESTING READ ON BIDENS CHARACTER

Friends and Patriots,
This is a reply to the following, reference links below.
Here is some interesting reading about the real Joe Biden, not the MSM version. Character counts.

The Clintons did what the Clintons do …. take Arab oil money, and help Arab
scum rise to the top of their oasis watering hole. Then lie and lawyer up.  And count on the attention span of most Americans being no longer than a gnat’s.Christopher Stevens, sodomized and slain, adds to their body count. They didn’t
have him offed like they had Vince Foster or Ron Brown or many a hapless
Arkansan offed (allegedly). But the ambassador and his three protectors died
because they were sacrificial lambs or because they were collateral damage to
Hillary’s neglect of securtiy while she was busy figuring out some other way to
sell out America’s interests for her bank account.

The Clintons took in millions of dollars from Red China in exchange for nuclear
secrets and missile guidance secrets and allowing the dogeating bastards to
flood our markets with slave maded crap. As I said earlier, the Communist spies
Julius and Ethel Rosenberg sold us out because they were true believers in
Communism, which made them more ethical than the Clintons, who sold us out for
personal greed.

The Clintons served their Arab friends and distracted from one of his many sex
scandals by sending our service members to kill Christian Serbs at the behest of
fez-wearing Bosniak and Albanian scum.

When W wanted to let Dubai ragheads take over port security in 2006, Hillary was
about to wrap her wide butt and wrinkled face in the Flag and oppose it to get
some pub. Then Bill called her to remind her Dubai had given him a couple of
million bucks and more was on the way. Hillary fell as silent as Monica Lewinsky
with her mouth full.

That doesn’t even count the Clintons’ opposition to fighting sex slave
trafficking. Why would Bill or Janet Nero, both of whom used women and underage
girls, want to stop the flow of female victims?

Romney is no prize. But a side benefit of flushing BO and Marie Laveau out of
the White House could be hearings and a show trial of Hillary Clinton for the
Libya fiasco. Romney, as a vulture capitalist skilled in boardroom intrigue,
could kill her career and have nothing to worry about from her in 2016.

Or he could let nature take its course. In 2016, she will be four years more
hideous looking than she is now.

Whorehouse Harry Reid and Chuckles Biden are also biding their time for
2016. Especially Joey, who can try for the feminist vote by pointing to the
coathanger scars on his head that his mother put there when she found out she
was pregnant with him.

The Best and Worst Governors on Growth

By Chris Edwards

9 October 2012

The Wall Street Journal

(Copyright (c) 2012, Dow Jones & Company, Inc.)

Federal lawmakers have created an economic mess with their chronic overspending and inability to deliver stable, pro-growth tax policies. Perhaps the elections will break the Washington gridlock and knock loose some solutions. Until then, state capitols are the only place where there is real fiscal progress.

Two governors – Scott Walker of Wisconsin and Chris Christie of New Jersey — have gained national attention for their changes to government pension and union rules. But other state leaders are making breakthroughs on taxes, and they are the focus of Cato’s new “Fiscal Policy Report Card on America’s Governors.”

Four governors received an “A” grade: Sam Brownback of Kansas, Rick Scott of Florida, Paul LePage of Maine and Tom Corbett of Pennsylvania. Messrs. Scott and Corbett have been the most tightfisted on spending, but all four “A” governors are outstanding tax reformers.

– Gov. Sam Brownback cut the top individual tax rate in Kansas to 4.9% from 6.45%, increased the standard deduction and cut taxes on small business income. This tax cut was the biggest tax cut of any state in recent years relative to the size of its economy.

– Gov. Rick Scott ended Florida’s corporate income tax for thousands of small businesses. He is also moving ahead with cuts to property taxes on business equipment, which are a big hindrance to economic growth.

– Gov. Paul LePage cut Maine’s top individual tax rate to 7.95% from 8.5% and simplified income tax brackets. He also signed a bill to cut the top rate to 4% over time if there are sufficient budget surpluses. Mr. LePage’s ultimate goal is to phase out the individual income tax and cut the corporate tax rate in half, to 4%.

– Gov. Tom Corbett slashed Pennsylvania’s Capital Stock and Franchise Tax and hopes to fully repeal it by 2014. That sounds like an obscure reform, but this tax imposed an $800 million annual burden on businesses. Mr. Corbett is right that it “is a job-killer. . . . We don’t need it. We don’t benefit from it, and we must get rid of it.”

That type of can-do attitude toward business tax cuts is exemplified by Michigan’s Gov. Rick Snyder, who received a “B” grade overall. Mr. Snyder scrapped the hated Michigan Business Tax and replaced it with a less costly corporate income tax to save businesses $1.6 billion a year.

His next goal is to reduce the state’s $1 billion burden of personal-property taxes on businesses. These levies — which are imposed on machinery, equipment and other movable assets — are some of the most anti-growth taxes in America. Everybody benefits when businesses buy machines and expand production, but personal property taxes directly penalize that job-creating activity.

State business taxation is an overlooked area in need of reform. The Council on State Taxation found that state and local levies on businesses totaled $644 billion in 2011, or more than double the annual cost of the federal corporate income tax. True, the federal corporate tax rate is too high relative to other countries’ and is hurting American competitiveness. But business property taxes, sales taxes imposed on business purchases, and myriad other anti-investment levies imposed by state and local governments also impede economic growth.

Unfortunately, there are some states going in the wrong direction on fiscal policy. The Cato report card gave “F” grades to Pat Quinn of Illinois, Dan Malloy of Connecticut, Mark Dayton of Minnesota, Neil Abercrombie of Hawaii and Chris Gregoire of Washington. These governors are big spenders and they all pushed major tax hikes, which have undercut the economic recovery.

Some of these governors are schizophrenic on taxes: They jack up overall business tax rates, then give breaks to favored businesses. Gov. Quinn, for example, pushed up corporate rates within a massive, overall $7 billion tax increase in 2011. He has also handed out special tax breaks to filmmakers and to companies that threaten to leave the state because of high taxes, such as Sears and Motorola.

Happily, other governors — such as Nikki Haley of South Carolina, Terry Branstad of Iowa, Mary Fallin of Oklahoma and John Kasich of Ohio — are pursuing business or personal income tax-rate cuts in order to boost the economy. Now all we need are more federal politicians who could earn passing grades on pro-growth fiscal policy.

Drop In Jobless Claims Was All Due To One Mystery State

It Looks Like The Huge Drop In Jobless Claims Was All Due To One Mystery State

Sam Ro | Oct. 11, 2012,

UPDATE: A source explained to us exactly what happened and which state accounted for the plunge. Read more here.

Earlier this morning, the Department of Labor reported that initial jobless claims plunged to 339K from 369K a week ago.

Economists were looking for a reading of 370k.

Immediately, Twitter exploded with tweets mocking Jack Welch, who claimed last week’s jobs report was fixed to artificially drop the September unemployment rate to 7.8 percent from 8.1 percent in August.

Coincidentally, cryptic messages came through from Bloomberg and the WSJ that raised doubts about today’s report. From Bloomberg:

One state accounted for most of the plunge in claims, a Labor Department spokesman said as the data were issued to the press.

And from the WSJ:

“However, the report may not be as positive as the sharp drop indicates. A Labor Department economist said one large state didn’t report additional quarterly figures as expected, accounting for a substantial part of the decrease.”

Initially, rumors started circulating that an entire state’s worth of jobless claims was excluded.

The DoL was not immediately available to comment.

However, CNBC’s Kelly Evans is reporting that the discrepancy is that “one state did not process & report its typical seasonal workload” and that a rebound next week is likely.

We will update as we get more details.

Why Jobless Claims May Not Be as Good as Market Thinks

Thursday, 11 Oct 2012

By: Kelly Evans
CNBC Reporter

For the second time in a week, a government unemployment report is sowing confusion—and may not be as positive as the markets think.

First it was last Friday’s August payrolls report, which showed an unexpectedly large drop in the unemployment rate, that spurred confusion (and conspiracy theories). Now, a sharp drop in the pace of new jobless claims has also left people scratching their heads.

The Labor Department on Thursday said the number of people filing jobless claims last week dropped by a seasonally adjusted 30,000—a pretty sharp decline, and one that left the total number of filings at a four-year low of 339,000.

Financial markets immediately rallied on the news. (Read more: Stocks Rise After Jobless Claims Hit 4-Year Low.)

While the government didn’t note any unusual factors in the release itself, a Labor Department official did tell news agencies covering the release about a quirk which partly accounted for the larger-than-expected drop.

As Dow Jones reported: “A Labor Department economist said one large state didn’t report additional quarterly figures as expected, accounting for a substantial part of the decrease.”

The wording of that statement, along with the accompanying headlines, left the impression that one major state didn’t turn in its figures.

Here’s what actually happened. The state did report weekly jobless claims but did not process and report its quarterly claims number (when many people have to reapply for benefits for technical reasons as opposed to being newly laid off). As a result, there wasn’t the expected spike in claims that normally happens at the start of the quarter.

It is unclear why that happened or how unusual that is. What is clear is that the expected spike in claims around the start of each quarter was smaller this time than usual. Coupled with the seasonal adjustment (that expected a bigger increase), that pushed down the headline figure.

In other words, the drop of 30,000 last week had more to do with the lack of expected re-filings at the start of the fourth quarter than with any particular improvement in labor market conditions.

That also means that the decline which usually follows the spike won’t be as pronounced this time around, so the headline tally of jobless claims is likely to rebound next week.

All told, these two weeks’ worth of jobless claims will end up being more noise than signal. That may frustrate those who follow the series closely for clues into the health of the U.S. labor market. Coupled with last week’s payrolls report, it is also likely to fuel perception that labor market figures in general can’t be trusted.

The Labor Department appears to have had little choice in this matter, however; it couldn’t estimate what the one large state would or should have reported. Still, it may have been able to avoid more confusion had it more clearly articulated that in its weekly press release.

And now, there is one state’s labor department with plenty of explaining to do.

I WANT TO BE RE-ELECTED

An old West Virginia Hillbilly saying:

“You cannot get the water to clear up until you get the pigs out of the creek.”

SOME OF YOU MAY APPRECIATE THIS, AND SOME OF YOU MAY NOT.

I DO NOT APOLOGIZE FOR SENDING THIS BECAUSE IT IS TRUE.

If any other of our Presidents had stated that there were 57 states in the United States , wouldn’t you have had second thoughts about his capabilities?

If any other of our Presidents had visited Austria and made reference to the nonexistent “Austrian language,” would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If any other of our Presidents had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to “Cinco de Cuatro” in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, wouldn’t you have winced in embarrassment?

If any other of our Presidents had pronounced the

Marine Corps like “Marine Corpse”,

would you think him an idiot?

If any other of our Presidents had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

If any other of our Presidents had doubled the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

If any other of our Presidents had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

If any other of our Presidents had criticized a state law that he admitted he never even read, would you think that he is just an ignorant hot head?

If any other of our Presidents joined the country of Mexico

and sued a state in the United States to force that state to continue to allow illegal immigration, would you question his patriotism and wonder who’s side he was on?

If any other of our Presidents had put 87,000 workers out of work by arbitrarily placing a moratorium on offshore oil drilling on companies that have one of the best safety records of any industry because one foreign company had an accident, would you have agreed?

If any other of our Presidents had used a forged document as the basis of the moratorium that would render 87,000 American workers unemployed would you support him?

If any other of our Presidents had been the first President to need a Teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

If any other of our Presidents had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take his First Lady to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

If any other of our Presidents had reduced your retirement plan holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?

If any other of our Presidents had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

If any other of our Presidents had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought it a proud moment for America ?

If any other of our Presidents had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia would you have approved?

If any other of our Presidents had filled his Cabinet and circle of Advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current in their income taxes, would you have approved?

If any other of our Presidents would have flown all the way to Denmark to make a five minute speech about how the Olympics would benefit him walking out his front door in his home town, would you not have thought he was a self-important, conceited, egotistical jerk.

If any other of our Presidents had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he’s a hypocrite?

If any other of our Presidents’ administrations had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?

If any other of our Presidents had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

If any other of our Presidents had created the position of 32 Czars who report directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate on much of what is happening in America , would you have ever approved.

If any other of our Presidents had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

So, tell me again,

what is it about Obama

that makes him so brilliant and impressive?

Can’t think of anything?

Don’t worry.

He’s done all this in 34 months – so you don’t have that much time to come up with an answer.

Every statement and action in this email is factual

and directly attributable to

Barrack Hussein Obama.

Every bumble is a matter of record and completely verifiable.

AND NOW–

HE ACTUALLY WANTS US TO RE-ELECT HIM.

WAKE UP AMERICA , 2012 IS UPON US.

I WONDER HOW MANY OF YOU WILL FORWARD THIS ?

I AM BECAUSE I CANNOT AFFORD TO TAKE A CHANCE ON THIS GUY FOR ANOTHER FOUR YEARS . . .
