The custodian of most of the major mosques in America acts as a front for the radical Muslim Brotherhood in America, and publishes and distributes Islamic literature that exhorts Muslims to “kill” any Westerners who get in the way of spreading Islam, WND has learned.

“No political system or material power should put hindrances in the way of preaching Islam. If someone does this, then it is the duty of Islam to fight him until either he is killed or until he declares his submission,” asserts an Islamic publication distributed by the North American IslamicTrust.

NAIT holds title to more than 300 mosques in America – including the large Islamic center outside Washington where the Fort Hood terrorist and some of the 9/11 hijackers worshipped.

NAIT also owns and controls the mosque in Orange County, Calif., that converted al-Qaida spokesman Adam Gadahn to Islam.

Gadahn in a video released Sunday exhorted Muslims serving in the U.S. military to follow in the footsteps of accused Fort Hood terrorist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. He also called for attacks on mass transportation, along with assassinations or kidnappings of key figures in the government, industry and media.

The Justice Department recently blacklisted NAIT as an unindicted co-conspirator in a scheme to funnel millions of dollars to Palestinian terrorists.

NAIT Trustee Gaddoor Saidi was individually listed as an unindicted co-conspirator, as well, in the Holy Land Foundation case — the largest terror finance trial in U.S. history, which ended in guilty verdicts on all 108 counts.

In addition, the government identified NAIT as a front for Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood in America. Hamas, which was designated a terrorist organization in 1995, has murdered 17 Americans and injured hundreds of other U.S. citizens.

Chicago-based NAIT also handles the finances for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the Islamic Society of North America, the Muslim Students Association, and other Muslim Brotherhood front groups, which, shockingly, make up the Muslim establishment in America, according to the new book, “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America.”

The Muslim groups have been vehemently protesting the FBI’s use of undercover informants in mosques and its recent seizure of several mosques in America. Last year, a mosque leader in Detroit was fatally wounded in a shootout with FBI agents who sought his arrest on felony charges.

Through its subsidiary American Trust Publications, also headquartered in Chicago, NAIT publishes and distributes the pro-offensive-jihad book “Milestones,” by the late Muslim Brotherhood leader Sayyid Qutb of Egypt, Osama bin Laden’s spiritual father.

“Jihad in Islam is simply a name for striving to make this system of life dominant in the world,” the NAIT tome asserts. “Wherever an Islamic community exists which is a concrete example of the Divinely ordained system of life, it has a God-given right to step forward and take control of the political authority so that it may establish the Divine system on earth.”

“Milestones” preaches that Shariah law should be implemented “by force” if Western societies resist the barbaric Islamic code.

“Bringing about the enforcement of the Divine Law and the abolition of man-made laws cannot be achieved only through preaching,” it says. “When obstacles and practical difficulties are put in its way, it has no recourse but to remove them by force.”

“Islam has the right to take the initiative,” the book claims. “It has the right to destroy all obstacles in the form of institutions and traditions. It is the duty of Islam to annihilate all such systems.”

Chillingly, Qutb’s strategy dovetails with one outlined in a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood manifesto recently declassified by the Justice Department.

It lists NAIT among Brotherhood, or “Ikhwan,” front groups participating in a seditious conspiracy of “eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within” through a “grand jihad,” with the ultimate goal of making Islam “victorious over all religions.”

The secret manifesto was found in a terrorist suspect’s home in Northern Virginia and entered as evidence in the Holy Land Foundation trial.

According to “Muslim Mafia,” NAIT was founded in 1973 with massive funding from the Saudis. It was formed as an investment bank for the Muslim Brotherhood in North America, acquiring title to more than 300 mosques and Islamic schools in the U.S.

Current NAIT Chairman Muzammil Siddiqi appears in secret Brotherhood documents as a high-ranking member of its shura council in America, according to documents cited in “Muslim Mafia.”

NAIT did not return phone calls seeking comment.

This is Why Islamists Name-Call

Jibril Hough, a vocal critic of U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick, has followed the Islamist playbook by using standard propaganda techniques to attack Rep. Myrick.

A Muslim leader who has tried to portray the founder of the Congressional Anti-Terrorism Caucus in Washington as an extremist “hatemonger” was himself exposed as an extremist on a popular radio program.

For years, Jibril Hough has represented himself and his North Carolina mosque as “moderate,” while putting Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C., on the defensive as an anti-Muslim fanatic who “shoots from the hip” when sounding the alarm about homegrown Islamic terrorism. Myrick, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, co-founded the Capitol Hill caucus after 9/11 to educate Americans about the growing threat from jihadists.

But during an in-studio interview Friday with Charlotte radio personality Keith Larson of WBT-AM, Hough was confronted with documents revealing his mosque – the Islamic Center of Charlotte – is owned and controlled by an organization connected to a plot to funnel millions of dollars to Islamic terrorists.

The North American Islamic Trust holds the deed to ICC, an 800-member Sunni mosque located on five acres at 1700 Progress Lane in Charlotte. The U.S. Justice Department recently blacklisted its owner NAIT as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terror finance case in U.S. history. The government also identified NAIT as a front for Hamas and the radical Muslim Brotherhood in America.

Saudi-funded NAIT owns the title to hundreds of radical mosques across the country, including the notorious 9/11 mosque in Northern Virginia – Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center (deed) – which helped some of the hijackers obtain housing and IDs and also counseled the Fort Hood terrorist and several other known terrorists.

Hough, ICC’s spokesman, at first expressed surprise when confronted with the information, claiming he’d never before seen the deed and did not know NAIT was named in a federal terror probe.

“I’m not aware of this information here,” he said, reviewing the documents.

Pressed by Larson, the ICC spokesman later admitted NAIT is the “parent” of his mosque, but quickly added that he was not a member of the mosque when NAIT took control in 1992.

“I was not involved in the decision to allow NAIT to be the (title) holder,” he said.

Asked if he were a member of NAIT, Hough paused before answering: “Not necessarily.”

Larson said it looked as if his mosque was acting as a “front” for an organization tied to terrorism, and wondered why Hough was not more concerned.

“It’s concerning, yes,” Hough conceded.

“To everybody else it looks not just concerning but absolutely damning,” the host responded. “Do you understand that?”

“What else can I say?” Hough said.

“Will you disassociate yourself” from NAIT? Larson asked.

“I told you I was going to look into it and was going to take it to my board,” Hough snapped.

As reported in the bestselling book, “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America,” current NAIT trustee Gaddoor Saidi also shows up on the Justice Department’s list of unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation scheme to fund Hamas terrorists. The Holy Land case ended in 2008 with guilty verdicts on all 108 counts.

A Muslim convert, Hough [pronounced: Huff] denied being affiliated with Hamas, but then proceeded to defend the terrorist group, claiming “they haven’t attacked Americans.”

In fact, Hamas has murdered 17 Americans and injured hundreds of other U.S. citizens in suicide bombings and other terrorist attacks in Israel. The U.S government designated Hamas a terrorist organization in 1995.

Hough also said he had a problem with the definition of “terrorism,” and suggested that the U.S. and Israel are committing the only real terrorism by retaliating against Muslim terrorists and extremists.

“What is ‘terrorism?’” Hough said. “Terrorism against Iraqis, Palestinians, Afghanis?”

Hough also denied affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood, an Egypt-based worldwide jihadist movement which gave rise to Hamas and al-Qaida.

However, current NAIT Chairman Muzammil Siddiqi appears in secret Brotherhood documents as a high-ranking member of its shura council in America, according to documents cited in “Muslim Mafia.”

“Within the organizational structure of NAIT, there have been numerous groups and individuals identified as being part of a covert network of revolutionaries,” the FBI warned in a previously classified internal memo about the Muslim Brotherhood.

“This faction of Muslims have [sic] declared war on the United States, Israel, and any other country they deem as an enemy of Islam,” the memo continues, as quoted in “Muslim Mafia.” “The common bond between these various organizations is both religious and political, with the underlying common goal being to further the holy war (Islamic jihad).”

ICC also runs an Islamic school called the Charlotte Islamic Academy.

Hough’s radical ties are not limited to ICC and NAIT. He once headed a Jew-bashing organization called the Islamic Political Party of America.

IPPA issued a press release in 2003, when Hough was identified as the chairman of the group’s national board, that suggests the Jews were behind 9/11, a rumor that first appeared in the Arab press and was summarily discredited.

“But the biased Western media would not cover this story, yet they also neglected to report that 4,000 Jews employed at the World Trade Center were absent at (the) WTC on 9/11,” Hough’s organization wrote in the press release. “Nor did they report on the thousands who saw WTC Building Seven fall without a plane hitting it.”

The same press release also defended convicted terrorist Sami al-Arian, among other convicted terrorists, such as cop-killer Jamil al-Amin.

As of 2008, Hough was identified as president of the IPPA of North Carolina.

The revealing radio interview with Hough took place the day after Myrick agreed to meet with local Muslims in a local town hall meeting to hear their complaints. Hough demanded she meet at his mosque, but the venue was changed to a government building to accommodate Shiite and Sufi Muslims as well.

Myrick said she was open to meeting at a mosque at a future date.

In the first part of the WBT interview, Hough took the opportunity to criticize Myrick, who planned to join him in the interview but had to fly back to Washington for a hearing and could not participate.

“Sometimes when she shoots from the hip, it looks like she’s painting with a broad brush,” Hough told Larson.

“People with an [anti-Muslim] agenda are whispering in her ear,” he claimed.

“I doubt some of the information she’s been fed is correct,” Hough continued. “It’s clouded her judgment.”

As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, Myrick receives highly classified briefings from the FBI, CIA and National Counter Terrorism Center.

Hough named bestselling author and JihadWatch.com director Robert Spencer as one of the people he believes is “whispering” in Myrick’s ear.

“Spencer clearly has an agenda against Muslims,” Hough insisted.

Taking Offense

Have you ever wondered why 80 year old ladies are frisked at airports while the “Underwear Bomber” was able to get through security?

If you answered that political correctness has a lot to do with it, you win the prize! “Random” searches are done to avoid any pretense of “profiling”—which is done to avoid giving “offense” to Muslims.

But no matter how sensitive our security officials try to be in order to avoid “offending” Muslims, no matter what tactics they propose using to keep us safe, some Muslims still take offense.

No one ever bothers to ask if all the law-abiding people who fly on airplanes are ever offended by the inconveniences and indignities imposed on them.

The short commentary below is very instructive.

Islamists Play Shell Games with Security

Despite the countless terror attacks perpetrated by their co-religionists, some Muslims still have the chutzpah to demand that security protocols conform to supposed Islamic sensitivities. But like a typical shell game, every time we think we know which procedures they grudgingly will tolerate, we discover that we have been hoodwinked yet again.

Responding to security measures implemented after the attempt to bomb a plane over Detroit on Christmas Day, CAIR characteristically charged that “the new guidelines, under which anyone traveling from or through 13 Muslim-majority nations will be required to go through enhanced screening techniques before boarding flights, … amount to religious and ethnic profiling.” CAIR’s proposed alternative: “First look at behavior, not at faith or skin color. Then spend what it takes to obtain more bomb-sniffing dogs, to install more sophisticated bomb-detection equipment, and to train security personnel in identifying the behavior of real terror suspects.”

All are fine ideas. But in reality, Islamists oppose each of them:

Scrutinizing behavior. Consider the “flying imams” imbroglio, where six Muslims who seemed to exhibit “the behavior of real terror suspects” were removed from a plane before takeoff in 2006. Passengers and crew members became alarmed when the men spoke loudly in Arabic, refused to sit in assigned seats, and requested unneeded seatbelt extenders. How did CAIR respond? By alleging religious discrimination and suing everyone in sight — with some success. True, the imams were fingered originally by alert citizens rather than dedicated security officers. But should we believe that CAIR’s reaction would have been different otherwise?

Bomb-sniffing dogs. Given that some Muslims see dogs as unclean, using them for security purposes often provokes Islamist criticism. Britain has experienced a litany of canine controversies, while a prominent Canadian Muslim recently voiced concerns about dogs patrolling Vancouver. The issue of police dogs also arose when a Detroit-based radical imam was killed in an October FBI raid. According to the Detroit News, the attorney representing his widow “said it was needlessly confrontational to send a dog after Abdullah because Muslims view dogs as unclean and anyone attacked by a dog could react violently”; an FBI canine was shot dead by the imam. How long until bomb-sniffing dogs in U.S. airports face objections?

Bomb-detection equipment. Body scanners are about as sophisticated as it gets, but now we know that these, too, run afoul of Islamist sensibilities. “The Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA) emphasizes that a general and public use of such scanners is against the teachings of Islam, natural law, and all religions and cultures that stand for decency and modesty,” the group explains in a fatwa issued on February 9. CAIR, which had championed “sophisticated bomb-detection equipment” just a month earlier, backed the ruling.

The shell game continues, with the Fiqh Council offering yet another idea: “FCNA appreciates the alternate provision of pat-down search” and advises Muslims to avail themselves of this option over the body scanners. After all, no Muslims balk at being touched, right?

Muslim Leader Slings “McCarthyism” Slur At Congresswoman

U.S. Representative Sue Myrick, co-founder of the House Anti-terrorism Caucus, is a courageous public servant and passionate defender of our national security. She understands the multiple ways in which radical Islam threatens America and she has been willing to speak out about this threat.

US Rep. Myrick meets NC Muslims, warns of dangers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After months of warning that Islamic radicals are infiltrating mainstream groups, U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick was to meet Thursday with Muslim constituents to explain her position.

Myrick, R-N.C., has said Islamic extremists are working their way into U.S. Muslim communities, infiltrating government institutions and influencing American citizens to attack their own country, The Charlotte Observer reported.

“I want people to be aware of the fact that it does exist and it is a threat to our national security,” said Myrick, who serves on the House Intelligence Committee. “It could be an American citizen that could be radicalized by one way or another.”

Jibril Hough, spokesman for the Islamic Center of Charlotte, said he hopes Thursday night’s town hall meeting is the first of many between Myrick and the Muslim community.

Myrick said she wants constituents to understand that her concerns aren’t about the rising visibility of the Islamic faith.

“We live in the United States of America, where we have freedom of religion for everybody,” Myrick said.

Instead, the former Charlotte mayor said her view was strengthened by top-secret briefings from U.S. intelligence officials that she said she could not discuss.

“There’s a threat out there to our security,” Myrick said. “It’s worse than I thought.”

She has proposed fighting Islamic radicalization by cutting off exchange programs and weapons sales with Saudi Arabia, passing legislation that would make it a treasonous offense to call for the death of American citizens and investigating the selection of Arabic translators.

Some conservatives have applauded her views, but some Muslims said they fear Myrick’s tone endangers their community.

“It’s looking like she’s taking on a tinge of McCarthyism, and this is dangerous,” said state Sen. Larry Shaw, D-Cumberland. “She’s becoming a hatemonger. And that’s sad. This is an intelligent woman, and I think she’s a good woman.”

Shaw is national chairman for the Council of American-Islamic Relations, a civil rights group Myrick has accused of planting spies on Capitol Hill by trying to get Muslim interns hired in congressional offices.

Last fall she wrote the foreword to a new book, “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Seeking to Islamize America,” which accuses CAIR of conspiring to support international jihad against the United States.

Myrick has said her fears about infiltration were realized in November, when Army Maj. Nidal Hasan killed 13 people at Fort Hood, Texas. Hasan, a psychiatrist, had trained colleagues on how to handle Muslims in the military. The FBI had been monitoring contact between Hasan and a radical Yemeni-American cleric.

Some experts disagree with Myrick’s view that radicalized Islamic Americans present a growing terrorism threat. A study released last month by researchers at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill found 139 Muslim-Americans involved in alleged or confirmed terrorism incidents since Sept. 11, 2001, out of a national Muslim-American population of more than 3 million.

“We have a problem,” said David Schanzer, lead author of the study and director of the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security. “It’s important to keep it in perspective in its size and dangerousness, which I think are generally overblown.”

Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened. In the words of U.S. Senator Susan Collins, “the Obama administration appears to have a blind spot when it comes to the War on Terrorism.”

This week, the U.S. Congress will once again be focusing on the issue of health care, with the President’s impending “health care summit.” We must send a message to our federal elected officials: Health care is an important issue, but just as important is protecting our nation and our Constitution from Jihadists. It’s time to take the blinders off and get tough on national security.

As part of a Keep America Safe coalition, ACT! for America has been instrumental in the effort to remove New York as the venue for the Khalid Sheikh Mohammed trial, and to ensure that all enemy combatants are tried in military tribunals. Although there are indications that the Administration is considering reversing course on the New York venue, it is by no means a “done deal.”

And although the American public has demanded again and again that enemy combatants not receive the same judicial rights as you and I, there is no indication that the Administration is listening.

Another deeply concerning matter is the recent admission by Director of Intelligence Dennis Blair and National Counterterrorism Center Director Michael Leiter that intelligence officials were not consulted before FBI agents read Islamist Abdul Mutallab his Miranda Rights.

Abdul Mutallab is an enemy combatant, not an “alleged criminal” with constitutional rights to due process. He should have been interrogated as an enemy combatant in order to obtain intelligence regarding his fellow enemy combatants.

As the largest national security grassroots organization in the country, others are looking to us on these critical matters. Thank you for all of your past efforts. We must keep our elected officials’ feet to the fire. Will you help us get the job done?

Material Could Be Smuggled Into the U.S.

The story below is very disturbing. Government Accountability Office (GAO) officials were able to easily penetrate our borders with false identification.

Not only did they conclude that terrorists could pass through relatively easily, they also concluded that radioactive material could be smuggled across the Canadian-U.S. border in multiple places!

These are the kinds of issues that come before the Congress and the Administration. Our 2010 Congressional Scorecard will make it possible for anyone to see how Members of Congress voted on issues like these.

And the “Effective Contact” Grassroots lobbying program will make it easier and more effective for anyone to contact their Members of Congress on issues just like this.

In the past, officials from the Government Accountability Office testified before members of the U,S. Congress on three separate occasions in order to describe security vulnerabilities that terrorists could exploit to enter the country. Yet, even with reports of border security deficiencies, President Barack Obama cut the number of Border Patrol agents.

According to a report obtained by the Terrorism Committee of the National Association of Chiefs of Police, the GAO’s first two testimonies focused on covert testing at ports of entry — the air, sea, and land locations where international travelers can legally enter the United States.

In its third testimony, the GAO focused on limited security assessments of unmanned and unmonitored border areas between land ports of entry.

GAO officials were asked to summarize the results of covert testing and assessment work for these three testimonies. This report discusses the results of testing at land, sea, and air ports of entry; however, the majority of GAO’s work was focused on land ports of entry. The unmanned and unmonitored border areas GAO assessed were defined as locations where the government does not maintain a manned presence 24 hours per day or where there was no apparent monitoring equipment in place.

GAO investigators identified numerous border security vulnerabilities, both at ports of entry and at unmanned and unmonitored land border locations between the ports of entry. In testing ports of entry, undercover investigators carried counterfeit drivers’ licenses, birth certificates, employee identification cards, and other documents, presented themselves at ports of entry and sought admittance to the United States

They arrived in rental cars, on foot, by boat, and by airplane. They attempted to enter in four states on the northern border (Washington, New York, Michigan, and Idaho), three states on the southern border (California, Arizona, and Texas), and two other states requiring international air travel (Florida and Virginia

In nearly every case, government inspectors accepted oral assertions and counterfeit identification provided by GAO undercover investigators as proof of U.S. citizenship and allowed them to enter the country. In total, undercover investigators made 42 crossings with a 93 percent success rate. On several occasions, while entering by foot from Mexico and by boat from Canada

For example, at one border crossing in Texas, an undercover investigator attempted to show a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer his counterfeit driver’s license, but the officer said, “That’s fine, you can go” without looking at it.

As a result of these tests, GAO concluded that terrorists could use counterfeit identification to pass through most of the tested ports of entry with little chance of being detected.

In its most recent work, GAO shifted its focus from ports of entry and primarily performed limited security assessments of unmanned and unmonitored areas between ports of entry. The names of the states GAO visited for this limited security assessment have been withheld at the request of Customs and Border Protection officials.

In four states along the U.S.-Canada border, GAO covert investigators found state roads that were very close to the border that CBP did not appear to monitor. In three states, the proximity of the road to the border allowed investigators to cross undetected, successfully simulating the cross-border movement of radioactive materials or other contraband into the United States from Canada

For example, in one apparently unmanned, unmonitored area on the northern border, the U.S. Border Patrol was alerted to GAO’s activities through the tip of an alert citizen. However, the responding U.S.

Also on the northern border, GAO investigators located several ports of entry in one state on the northern border that had posted daytime hours and were unmanned overnight. Investigators observed that surveillance equipment was in operation, but that the only preventive measure to stop an individual from crossing the border into the United States

GAO officials also identified potential security vulnerabilities on federally managed lands adjacent to the U.S.-Mexico border. GAO concluded that CBP faces significant challenges on the northern border, and that a determined cross-border violator would likely be able to bring radioactive materials or other contraband undetected into the United States by crossing the U.S.-Canada border at any of the assessed locations.

Update: Five Muslim Soldiers Arrested at Fort Jackson in South Carolina

CBN News has learned exclusively that five Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson in South Carolina were arrested just before Christmas. It is unclear whether the men are still in custody. The five were part of the Arabic Translation program at the base.

Patrick Jones, the Deputy Public Affairs Officer for Fort Jackson, confirmed for CBN News Thursday afternoon that an investigation was ongoing.

Prior to this posting, CBN News learned that these details were also confirmed by a government official with knowledge of the investigation.

The men are suspected of trying to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson.

A judge on Tuesday said Kimberly “Asma” Al-Homsi, 45, and an 18-year-old friend would remain in jail until tried on charges related to the possession of several pipe bombs.

Al-Homsi and Yasinul Alan Ansari, 18, both of Arlington, appeared in a Tarrant County federal court Tuesday afternoon before Magistrate Judge Charles Bleil following their arrest after being pulled over at the end of a police pursuit Saturday.

Bleil said at Tuesday’s hearing that the pair must remain in jail because they are a flight risk. They are charged with a single count each of intentionally possessing an unregistered firearm — in this case a destructive device, the materials for pipe bombs.
