The Ugly Face of the Obama Regime

With less than a month to the most crucial election of our lifetime, we’re now all headed down the last mile; a long and treacherous last mile, well strewn with booby-traps.

Lies, propaganda and manufactured confusion are the trademark of Election 2012.

Tweeters are taking to the Net claiming they will start riots and claiming they will flood countries like Canada should Mitt Romney win.

(Here we were wondering how Canada Immigration would face the U.S. exodus should Obama win.)

Even conservative news sites are talking about the Romney surge since last week’s presidential debate, with some predicting a Romney landslide.  A dangerous message because it comes with the assumption of a guaranteed Romney win by keeping voters at home instead of at the voting booth.

Nothing—even the election—is guaranteed.

Even Canada Free Press (CFP) is caught up in the Obama Team’s sticky spiderweb.

Message to CFP from Ann Marie Habershaw, BarackObama.com yesterday: “This week, we need to make some of the last, tough choices about what the final push of this grassroots organization will look like—where we can compete and how fiercely.

“It’s a close race, and you hold the power here.  According to our records associated with this exact email address:

-Your supporter ID is: 1010355084
-Most recent donation:0
-Total amount donated in 2012: $0

“It looks like you haven’t given yet.  That may be because you gave using a different email address than you’re using now—if we’ve got this wrong, I apologize.”

CFP is not part of the Obama “grassroots” campaign and,  in fact arrived on the BarackObama.com donation list only because its email, like those of so many others, was unwittingly harvested.

BarackObama.com, which has been in existence since 2004, got a boost in traffic on October 2, 2008, when another website, Obama.com started directing its traffic its way.  Obama.com was hosted by a Japanese company.

“In his report on fraudulent and foreign donations to American politicians, chief among them Barack Obama, Peter Schweizer raises the mysterious case of Robert Roche an Obama bundler, who, for some time, owned the website Obama.com.  That site redirects its traffic, 68 percent of which comes from foreign sources, to the official Obama campaign website.” (Eliana Johnson, The Corner, Oct. 8, 2012).

Roche, whose name appears on the White House guest list 19 times, also happens to be a huge donor to all things Democrat.  In 2012 alone, he has given over $130,000 to Democrat-affiliated organizations.

As the Schweizer report notes, Roche was an honored guest at the 2011 State Dinner for Chinese President Hu Jintao, seated at the head table along with all the bigwigs.

Perhaps most interestingly of all, using the Wayback Machine, if you go to barackobama.com’s first screen shot, and click down through the links to articles published about Obama, you will find an article from the East African Standard titled “Kenyan in U.S. Senate Race”, dated Jan. 19, 2004.  In other words, Obama saw fit to have this story posted on his own website!

During the long last mile, lies and propaganda will ooze all over the path.

The regime will be doing everything possible to confuse the electorate; to demoralize people preferring liberty over tyranny; to diminish all things American.  Their lies fly faster than Father Time.

Yesterday came the Big Lie that Obama, his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and UN Ambassador Susan Rice never tried to blame an amateur film trailer nobody watched for the death of four Americans, including Libyan Ambassador Christopher Stevens.  This lie was set to masquerade as the truth on the same day as Jerome Corsi of WorldNetDaily revealed that Obama was wearing a ring with the words, “There is no God but Allah” long before he married Michelle.

But it didn’t take yesterday’s Congressional hearing to know that Obama, Clinton and Rice were lying through their teeth about the 9/11 anniversary terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2012.

Some knew long before reading about the ring that Obama, whose education was funded by Saudi princes, was a Muslim who enabled radical Islam in his open support of the ‘Arab Spring’ and about his ongoing tight relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Watch for the return of Occupy Wall Street (OWS) during the next three weeks. It wasn’t just boredom that drove them out of city parks, but prepping for pre-election anarchy. Ditto for Obama’s missing czars, who likely have been training OWS.

Don’t believe for a second that Romney is slated for a landslide.  They need you to think that so you wrongly assume that your vote isn’t needed on Election Day.

Fear nothing.  Just get through the next three weeks with the attitude that no matter what happens, you can deal with it.

Obama, his czars and OWS cannot force socialism or conversion to Islam on you, they can only try.

They’re living in an upside down dreamworld enabled by the mainstream media and Hollywood.

Taunting We the People every inch of the way, Obama is waiting to pull the curtain back on November 7, while the electorate intend to pull it back on November 6.

Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden

President Barack Obama counts on a November 4, made for television movie to push him over the finish line on November 6.

“Obama killed Osama” is the message they want carried down to the voting booth; Obama’s sort of last word from the boob-tube after gazillions of text messages sent out over his free cell phones.

“Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden” is being touted as an example of the president’s leadership.  Make that a borrowed leadership with events reversed by making the true heroes play bit parts.

“Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden” will air over the National Geographic Channel, courtesy of prominent Obama reelection fundraiser Harvey Weinstein and his company Voltage Pictures.

An attempt to tie Obama leadership in “Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden is feeble at best as you can’t market leadership if the person touted as a leader has virtually no leadership skills. 

Obama didn’t kill Osama, courageous Navy SEALS did.

Can Weinstein and National Geographic realistically count on a captive audience with obedient millions glued to television on the Sunday before Election?

As he couldn’t tattoo the message on his chest or print the message on T-shirts,  starring in his own movie the Sunday before election is the next best thing.

Problem is millions now know that Obama has been starring in his own movie since November 4, 2008.

The wheels came off the Pocket Messiah’s chariot at last week’s televised presidential debate.

As the wry Bob Parks of Black and Right fame puts it: “Scale of Obama’s humiliation revealed: Romney scores 52-point debate victory—the biggest in Gallup poll history.  Obama wanted to make history.  Now he’s in the books.”

Get a load of NGC Alibis 101: “National Geographic Channel chose the film’s debut date to help promote the start of its fall season, channel President Howard T. Owens said Thursday.” (CBS Oct. 5, 2012 ).

And: “National Geographic Channel did take into account Weinstein’s desire to get out ahead of a competitive movie about the U.S. Navy SEAL’s hunt for the al-Qaida leader, Owens said.”

The competitive movie is “Zero Dark Thirty” from director Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal, who won Oscars for “The Hurt Locker”, the former being scheduled for release in theaters at the end of the year.

“Seal Team Six”, directed by John Stockwell (“Into the Blue”), also was intended for a big-screen release until the channel made what it called a “preemptive bid” for it.  The film will be available to Netflix U.S. subscribers a day after its premiere.

“Owens said he and Weinstein have a previous business relationship: Owens represented Miramax Television while working at the William Morris Agency.

For truth and accuracy the depiction of the bin Laden raid in Pakistan leans heavily on the vetting of ‘experts’ that included a recently retired Navy SEAL and a bin Laden historian.

“While some aspects of the characterizations have been dramatized for creative reasons, the core story is an accurate portrayal of an event that ended the longest manhunt in American history.”

While Obama, far from the messiah image he carried into the 2008 election, is pinning his hopes for a reelection win on the film, many will skip the televised movie for the reality of an Election Day one of their own.  They call it “Gone with the Wind”.

Can Obama’s Foreign Policies Suck Any Worse?

Other than the sound bites on the TV news, I doubt that most people have actually read Mitt Romney’s Monday speech at the Virginia Military Institute. It was extraordinary and demonstrated a grasp of the many regions of the world that pose problems for their citizens, their neighbors, and, in some cases, the whole world.

The world always has been and likely always will be a dangerous place somewhere. When I look at the United Nations headquarters in New York, what I see is a place that would make a decent condominium, complete with its own theatre, because it is the most failed international institution on Earth.

Even though the UN has 192 members, the U.S. in 2010 contributed on average between 22% and 27% of the budgets for thirty-seven UN organizations, agencies, commissions, and programs. With the exception of Western member nations, the UN is a cruel charade about peace, human rights, and democracy.

There’s an independent watchdog organization called Freedom House that performs a valuable service by surveying the nations of the world to identify those where freedom is still struggling to emerge. In its recent report, “Countries at the Crossroads 2012” it spells out where the trouble spots are and, without intending to, it is also a global map of Obama’s pathetic foreign affairs policies.

If you put the Freedom House report side-by-side with Mitt Romney’s speech text, you would discover that he has a remarkable grasp of the realities of the shifting dynamics of world affairs. As he said in his speech, “Hope is not a strategy.” If anything, Obama’s strategies—assuming he even has any—have demonstrably weakened America’s role in the Middle East and throughout the world. A President who does not attend daily intelligence briefings as those before him did is quite simply absent without leave.

Freedom House analyst, Vanessa Tucker, says bluntly that “The weakness of the governance institutions in the Middle Eastern and North African countries can be seen in the riots occurring across the region and the authorities’ inability to respond effectively to unrest. After decades of corrupt and repressive rule, citizens in these states are facing brutal and ineffective security forces, habitually divisive and confrontational politics, and a lack of productive avenues through which to lodge their grievances and assert their rights.”

Most Americans cannot even imagine living in such places, but most Americans have not lived in nations where Islam, an inherently oppressive faith system, is the rule and where often secular despots enforce it to their personal gain.

It’s not just the Middle East. In Latin America there has been a surge of violence and organized crime—drug cartels—have not hesitate to kill journalists in Mexico and Honduras, affecting as well the political process in Mexico and in Guatemala. In Asian nations, particularly Sri Lanka and Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia, the governments continue to restrict freedom of expression. South Africa is suffering the dominance of the African National Congress and there are electoral abuses in Malawi and Uganda. Tanzania and Zimbabwe are cesspools of corruption.

Romney’s speech was filled with specifics, but you would not know that from the way it was generally under-reported.

• Romney identified the attacks in Libya and against our embassies in “two dozen other countries, mostly in the Middle East, but also in Africa and Asia” as evidence of widespread anti-Americanism. They were, he said, the work of those “who seek perpetual war on the West.” Can you spell j-i-h-a-d? Romney can.
• Romney said, “I will put the leaders of Iran on notice that the United States and allies will prevent them from acquiring nuclear weapons capability.” By contrast, Obama has done everything he can to reduce the U.S. nuclear arsenal.
• Romney said, “I will roll back President Obama’s deep and arbitrary cuts to our national defense that would devastate our military. I will make critical defense investments that we need to remain secure. The first purpose of a strong military is to prevent war.” That is a lesson that even the ancient Greeks understood when they said “Si vis pacem, para bellum” If you want peace, plan for war.
• Romney said “I will champion free trace and restore it as a critical element of our strategy…the President has not signed one new free trade agreement in the past four years. I will reverse that failure.”

I have never lived in an America that was not a world leader and, following WWII, a superpower. For more than four decades the U.S. faced off against the former Soviet Union until its collapse. The U.S. Navy has kept the sea lanes of the world open. The U.S. has gone to war when it was deemed the only option.

Obama has been the first President since George Washington to assert that “any world order that elevates one nation or group over another will inevitably fail.” A world that looks to the U.S. for leadership has witnessed the failure of Obama’s foreign policy.

We can only continue our exceptional role if we get our fiscal house in order and that means ridding the nation of the most profligate chief executive in our history. We can rebuild our military and create thousands of jobs in the process. We can tap our enormous energy reserves and create more thousands of jobs. We can lift the regulatory burden from businesses large and small. We can reform our tax laws.

We can make ourselves and our allies safer in an ever-dangerous world, but not if we have a President whose only strategy for peace and security is “hope.” It is no substitute for leadership and preparedness.

The Comeback of ‘President Teleprompter’

The euphoria of the clear Mitt Romney win over President Barack Hussein Obama at Wednesday’s first presidential debate requires a back-to-business blast of reality.

Mitt won hands down and gave us the first positive sign that victory could be in sight.  But getting there from here is going to be along a long, booby-trapped trail.

Truth is that anyone with something substantial to say could have done the same thing Romney did to President Teleprompter, who for four long years has been a moving target out on the campaign trail,  if only because without the teleprompter there’s only ever been an empty suit.

“Where was Obama tonight?” asked an ostensibly nonplussed Chris Matthews after the debate.

The guy who gave you the tingle up your leg was right there, Chris, only finally stripped of his Messiah image in the unforgiving light of inadequacy. 

With his head-down, skulking demeanor you just didn’t recognize what millions with no blinders saw back in 2007.

As inadequate and diminished as presidential candidate Mitt Romney made him look, your president was just who he really is and has always been, the empty suit and empty chair determined to win reelection.

Why were Matthews and the liberal media in a post presidential debate funk when Obama himself told a crowd of more than 11,000 supporters at a rally in Las Vegas, where he had holed up to prepare for the coming debate over the weekend that he is just “OK” in debates?

“Governor Romney is a good debater.  I’m just OK,” Obama said (Joe Piazza, current.com), Oct.1, 2012.

Truer words were never spoken by the most unabashed anti-American president in history.

Obama doesn’t do debates, he does Teleprompter appearances.  Obama doesn’t show up where adult voters congregate, he does captive audiences at university campuses, where lib-left professors instruct students not to ask meaningful questions.

Many of the estimated 65 million who watched the debates on television may have been frightened when they saw close up for the first time, the sulking, head down, smirking Obama caught in the glare of the headlights as Romney ran away with a clear win.  But millions more had seen through Obama long before he walked onto the presidential debate stage.

Reeling with shock television viewers not in the know about the White House Emperor Without Clothes, must have missed Democratic National Committee spokesman Brad Woodhouse, who told Fox News before the debate that he believed Mitt Romney would win the first debate on domestic policy in Denver.

The bigger shock is that Democrats and their supporters know their candidate is a lousy debater and accept his shortcomings.

As much as Romney supporters were elated to see him decimate the phony called Obama, Wednesday night was a debate and not an election.

The harsh reality that lingers behind after a day of “Did you see Obama keep his head down?” “Did you hear how he rambled?” “Did you see that awful smirk?”, come from a poll. 

The first debate poll, an online one commissioned by Reuters and conducted by Ipsos Public Affairs, shows that post-debate Obama’s numbers didn’t move.

“The upshot is responders think Romney won, it did move his numbers and it did move the head to head.  But not dramatically.” (TPM Editor’s Blog).  “Who won the debate? Romney 50%, Obama 28%.”

One day after, Obama back with his trademark teleprompter was scoring hideous laughs from an audience in Wisconsin: “When I got onto the stage, I met this very spirited fellow who claimed to be Mitt Romney.  But it couldn’t have been Mitt Romney, because the real Mitt Romney has been running around the country for the last year promising $5-trillion in tax cuts that favor the wealthy.  The fellow on stage last night said he didn’t know anything about that.”

Fortunately,  the fellow that Romney met on stage, the bumbling, didn’t-want-to-be-there loser was definitely Barack Obama.

This morning all ‘Friends’ got another one of those emails from Obama Campaign manager Jim Messina with a picture showing Obama at the University of Wisconsin   with a cheering crowd of 30,000.

News that matters: The Dems have already left the dismal first presidential debate far behind, and are back in full election swing.

We all now know that The Man Who Isn’t There wasn’t there on October 3, but that the Man Who Was There to rid America from a Marxist stranglehold must still be carried across the finish line.
